Dr. Shah’s commitment to social service extends beyond marriage counseling. Her passion for improving society led her to focus on issues like child welfare, education and the prevention of child marriage. She has been instrumental in addressing many social issues that affect the underprivileged, particularly children.
As a trustee of Shri Jinendra Vaibhav Sanstha, Dr. Shah has worked tirelessly for the welfare of underprivileged children, especially those from poor families where both parents work long hours. In 2000, she launched a child welfare program in Mumbai’s slums, starting with just 10 children. Today, the program supports over 100 children between the ages of 1 and 8, providing them with food, education and healthcare.

families receive nutritious meals, snacks and pre-school education during the day while their
parents are at work.
Stopping Child Marriages
Dr. Shah has helped prevent over 500 child
marriages, which often have severe, lifelong consequences for young girls. She remains dedicated
to advocating for children’s rights and supporting their development.
Saving Divorce Cases
Dr. Shah has successfully mediated and helped over 2,000
couples reconcile, preventing divorces by addressing relationship issues and encouraging mutual
understanding.
